Brent Atwood

Brent started out young in music, like a lot of folks….in church. He hails from a musical family that truly believes in the power of song. Around 7 years old he started to travel with his mother, father, and brother to local churches throughout South Carolina’s Low Country. From those days forward he never stopped singing. Although genres changed from R&B, Pop, and even some rap, he always loved the old country songs his dad played on the flat top. In 2017 he decided enough was enough. Brent got together some buddies that loved music as much as he did and formed the Southern Country Outlaws. Since then they have taken the Grand Strand by storm. They have become one of the most listened to Country/Southern Rock bands around and are ALL about the show. Brent’s high energy fuels the band’s passion to give everything they have every time they play. Brent has just completed two singles, “I work too hard to be this broke” the anthem of the working man and “This is my story” a patriotic song depicting life as an Army Ranger. This song was sparked by his best friend Jonathan Rush, 3rd 75th   Ranger Bat, and the stories he told of his time in service. In June 2020 he became sponsored by Gone Country Hats. With Gone Country’s help he has as planned, set and ran several fund raisers for Veterans and fallen Law Enforcement Officers. He has raised around $20,000 to give out to assistance programs for them all. Keep your eyes open for this one folks, he has no plans on stopping now….
