K SHIP
Kathryn Shipley has been a force to be reckoned with since she began pursuing the path of a recording artist in 2017. Having raised her children in her home state of Missouri and forged a professional career outside of the music industry, she epitomizes brave. Her bravery is harnessed by her devotion and her relationship with her faith. "Kship" - as she is known to her friends and fans - crosses multiple genres with her vocal prowess, having amassed her a great fan following. Her songs are no doubt flavored with country but her lyrics on her new single "Your Love Is Enough”, (released on June 5th, 2020) proclaim her faith as a Christian Contemporary song.
KShip is a true artist as she creates from her heart and navigates back and forth between the country music and Christian contemporary genres. With many notable awards under her belt since 2017, she is one of the fastest growing independent artists in her respective genres. Kathryn recently was Blessed with a double win at the 6th Annual Josie Music Awards in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee - now having been nominated and won the last 4 years. She won for Music Video of the Year (female category) for her song "This Will Always Be My Town" and Song of the Year with "Your Love is Enough." Kathryn released a new Christmas song on November 2nd, 2020 titled, “Oh What a King” and soon to follow was the video, written by Nashville songwriters, multi-award winner Corey Lee Barker and Tery Wayne. Kathryn recently released her newest song, collaborating with fellow Josie Music Award winner Ava Paige and recorded a song in Nashville called “You Above All” that was produced by Daniel Dennis in his Music City studio, Prime Cut Studio. Kathryn will be shooting her music video, "You Above All" in Nashville on March 28th. New Music is around the bend soon for this fast-growing Independent Artist.
